Corey O’Hara, iDE Nepal Country Director, has been supporting entrepreneurship and rural development in Nepal since 2006. At that time, Corey worked for Winrock International as a consultant on the SIMI project and on business development within the coffee sector under the TC-GDA project. He later shifted to iDE Nepal, where he has worked across sectors and projects on program design, communications, and new business development, and has researched the impact of agricultural market development on food security, nutrition, and women’s empowerment in rural communities. Previously, Corey
worked in the U.S. Department of State and as Associate Director of the
Clinton Global Initiative on efforts to solve global poverty through
public-private partnership. He also founded and coordinated the Haiti Action
Network, a multisector group of actors engaged in long-term development,
recovery, and reconstruction efforts. Corey serves as Editor-in-Chief of the
Food and Nutrition Bulletin, a publication of the International Nutrition
Foundation. |
