I have worked for over 20 years in the development sector with over a
decade experience as a Country Director and/or Chief of Party. I am a strong believer in NGO Coordination
and have served on INGO or NGO coordination bodies in Afghanistan, Pakistan,
Malawi and Sierra Leone. As a co-chair
of the INGO Steering Committee in Sierra Leone, I successfully led the INGO
Forum in negotiations with the Labour Ministry around the new Labour law. I am well known in every posting as a
helpful and open Country Director, giving formal and informal help to other
CDs in everything from HR and policy support to moral support during
difficult times. I have worked for both national and international organizations and
very small and very large INGOs and I understand the various challenges that
face different types of organizations and the importance of ensuring all
organizations feel supported and have their needs met. |
