Futsal fever has gripped the nation and AIN has maintained the legacy. The 2nd AIN Cup Futsal started with big fanfare and enthusiasm. The Chief Guest of the event Mr. Rabindra Kumar, Member Secretary of the Social Welfare Council (SWC) highlighted on the importance of games in team building and enhancing harmony amongst AIN Members. The Futsal Tournament got kicked off with a friendly match between SWC and AIN Steering Committee & EDP Members. AIN team won the match making 8 goals and SWC 1 Goal. The whole objective of the friendly match was to strengthen the ties between AIN and SWC, the facilitative body for INGOs in Nepal.
The 1st AIN Cup tournament held in 2013 was participated by 10 Members and this year the number is more than double. 22 enthusiast INGOs' players marched smartly in the Futsal Arena X Cel Recreational Centre, Baluwatar on the opening day. A huge cheering crowd of nearly 300 Futsal fans, INGO colleagues and family members made the tournament even more festive. The league matches will be held on 3rd & 4th May and the Final Knock out Match on 10 May 2014.
