Chairperson of AIN Ashutosh Tiwari along with the AIN Members Deepak Raj Sapkota, Ravindra Shakya and Achyut Luitel conducted the sessions. It was a healthy and open discussion where the journalists made queries on their concerns regarding INGOs.
The main intent of the Development Dialogue was to create a platform where Journalists could openly enquire and seek information regarding INGOs, mainly the 113 INGOs that are Members of AIN.
AIN seeks to continue this kind of dialogue on a regular basis to foster a healthy working relation between the Media and INGOs. AIN believes that Media is the biggest ally of INGOs since Media can play a vital role in envisaging the development efforts made by INGOs.
AIN who believes in free, fair and unbiased press made a plea to emphasize on fact finding and a bit more research while doing any kind of reporting about INGOs instead of judging them with the same lense.
